On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Coronation Street shown in the UK between the 23rd and the 27th September 2024 (Episodes #11,369 – 11,374).
It feels like so long since Corrie has done any filming abroad… and that trend continues this week despite the numerous scenes set in a Turkish hospital. And the reason for this little faux jaunt? Why, to raise more issues of course! Well we certainly won’t be heading to southeastern Europe for liposuction any time soon, we can tell you that. To be fair, and despite predicting the contrary when we first heard about this story, we actually quite enjoyed Bethany’s scenes this week, which felt like a bit of a fresh spin on the usual Corrie medical drama. Also this week, Joel’s hatching some kind of plan that combines charitable donations, acting drunk and an almighty dollop of ominous background music.. but what exactly is he up to? Meanwhile, Hope’s still on the vapes, Stu’s back to defending Mason and Paul and Bernie finally manage to reach some kind of compromise regarding Paul’s funeral.
Up next in The Kabin, we take a look at who’s in the running from Corrie as the shortlist for next week’s Inside Soap Awards is revealed, and we round off the show with more of your feedback.
