It’s an early episode of the podcast this week, covering the Weatherfield happenings between the 28th September and the 1st October (Episodes #11,951 – #11,953).
Eva began the week in a heap at the bottom of the Rovers cellar steps, so naturally the big question was whether she’d remember who pushed her before some innocent suspect got dragged into it instead. Carl did indeed end up being carted off to the nick, causing yet another rift between him and Debbie, but by the end of today’s episode the finger was finally pointing in the right direction: Sam. And it turns out that almost sending his auntie to an early grave is the least of his worries! Sam isn’t the only one carrying a guilty conscience this week, either, with Lucy clearly haunted by what happened during her mum’s final moments. Jodie, meanwhile, seems to be suffering from no such burden whatsoever. Absolutely shameless!
Not a whole lot of news this week, so we gave The Kabin a swerve, but there’s still a bit of time for some more listener feedback before the show’s end.
