For this week’s character profile, we chat about one of Corrie’s brightest young stars of the past few years, Asha Alahan! Though Tanisha Gorey has been in the role of Asha since 2009, it wasn’t until Iain Macleod took over as producer that show stepped up a gear with her character, and Tanisha got some much deserved praise for her work on stories such as Asha’s skin lightening and sexting. In this profile, we talk about her story so far on the show, and what our hopes are for her now that she’s reached adulthood.
