Leanne may not have been willing to admit it, but the inevitable events of Friday’s heart-breaking episodes have been on the cards for quite some time now, but that certainly didn’t make them any less enjoyable to watch – indeed, the sad scenes where Steve and Leanne said their final goodbyes to their son were among the actors’ very best, and, supported by spectacular performances from the rest of the cast, made for a truly powerful end to the week. Also this week, it looks like it could be the end of the road for Johnny and Jenny (Nooo!), villainous Ray and Geoff strike a deal (Boo!) and things are still tough between Peter and Carla (Meh..)
In the Kabin, we celebrate Corrie’s wins at the Inside Soap Awards and cast a critical eye on the newly unveiled pieces of artwork to mark the 60th anniversary, then we round off the podcast with more of your listener feedback.
