On this week’s Conversation Street, we chat about the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 1st and the 4th September in the UK. It seems like time is a common theme on the show this week – as Roy sits looking at the clock during Hayley’s operation, time’s surely running out for a desperate Karl, who’s going to whatever lengths he can to keep Craig quiet. Meanwhile, Michelle’s getting stressed out by all the extra hours she’s putting in at the factory, and Sinead decides it’s time to give Chesney another chance. In the news section, we catch up with the latest news from the Celebrity Big Brother house, then ask ‘Is there anything that Katy can do to be less boring?’ in the feedback section. To mark the tenth anniversary of his departure from the show, this week in the character profile section we point our telescope in the direction of everyone’s favourite supermarket manager-cum-astronomer, Curly Watts.
