On this week’s podcast, we talk about the episodes of Coronation Street shown in the UK between the 26th and the 28th August. With no Friday episodes of Corrie this week, Street Talk is a little shorter than usual, but there’s still plenty of chat about Sally and Anna’s ‘barbefeud’, the Street’s latest newborn and the neverending love triangle between Chesney, Katy and Sinead. We also celebrate the return of Roy and Hayley to the Street, even if it does mean that the Norris-Mary-Emily house sharing story we were looking forward to never materialised. In the news section, we share our thoughts about the real reason for Stephanie Cole’s quick departure, catch up with how Bruce and Vicky are doing in the Celebrity Big Brother house, and uncover a new way to deter those pesky people who keep disturbing your Corrie watching session to try and and sell you things down the phone! This week’s character profile is the recently departed fireman, Paul Kershaw.
